GC Ride Locator Support

Welcome to the GC Ride Locator support page! Our Ride Locator is powered by Strava and helps athletes easily find, join, and share rides within our connected club.

Whether you’re looking for a weekend group ride, a training session, or a local event, this page will help you get started and troubleshoot any issues.

🔗 Getting Started

  1. Join the GC Club on Strava (https://www.strava.com/clubs/GarageCycles)

    • Open the Strava app or website.

    • Search for GC GarageCycles.cc Club.

    • Tap Join Club.

  2. Connect with the Ride Locator

    • Log into your GC member account.

    • Navigate to the Ride Locator page.

    • Authorize Strava to sync rides automatically.

  3. Find a Ride

    • Use filters such as location, distance, ride type (road, gravel, MTB, casual), and pace.

    • Tap a ride to see full details and RSVP directly via Strava.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a Strava account?

Yes. You’ll need a free or paid Strava account to access rides through the Ride Locator.

Can non-members see the rides?

Yes - non-members can see the rides, but please become a GC club member and complete our team signup and liability waiver.

Can I create my own ride?

Yes. Post a group ride on Strava under the GC Club page. It will sync into the Ride Locator.

🛠️ Troubleshooting

Issue: I don’t see any rides in my area.

  • Make sure your Strava account is linked.

  • Check filters (location, ride type, distance).

  • Try refreshing the Ride Locator page.

  • Learn about hosting rides!

Issue: My ride didn’t show up after posting on Strava.

  • Verify you posted it under the GC Club.

  • Allow a few minutes for syncing.

  • Log out and back in if the ride still doesn’t appear.

Issue: I can’t connect my Strava account.

  • Ensure you are logged into the correct Strava account.

  • Check that you authorized GC Ride Locator to access your Strava data.
